Beginner Half-Marathon Training Plan
Perfect if you’re new to the half marathon distance and want to build up steadily and safely. You might be stepping up from a 5K or 10K and can currently run for 30–40 minutes continuously at an easy pace, or longer with short breaks. This plan will guide you to complete 13.1 miles with confidence.
Improver half marathon plan
Designed for runners with some race experience who want to get faster and stronger. Perhaps you’ve already run a half marathon and want to improve, or you’ve been comfortable at the 10K distance and are ready to step up. You should feel confident running for around 70 minutes continuously and have some experience with structured interval training.
Experienced half marathon plan
Created for runners who already have a strong training base and want a structured, challenging programme to hit ambitious goals. You should be able to run 80–90+ minutes in a long run with ease, and have experience of both interval training and regular racing. This is the plan to help you reach your peak performance.
