Runderwear™ goes endurance riding!
When we started our Runderwear our aim was to keep all runners chafe free and comfortable when they ran.  It has been amazing to us just how many different sports we have also helped along the way! One of the sports we consistently hear about how much Runderwear benefits them is long-distance endurance riding.
Here at Runderwear we are happy to announce we are supporting two endurance riders, Jill Thorburn and Gaynor Jones from the Cheshire Endurance Great Britain group. Both riders regularly complete in endurance riding events.

Jill has ridden up to 45km on her young horse, Leesview Tobias, known as Toby to his friends. In his first season Toby had an amazing season achieving 5 grade ones and 3 grade twos in his novice season. He was well and truly in the lead in the National Novice Trophy when sadly he had an accident in the field and had to cut short his season.

After a good rest Toby has come back fit and well and has successfully completed eight rides over this season with a plan to complete another two before the winter comes and he focuses on his jumping which he loves. One of his highlights of the season has been that for the second year in a row Toby was part of the winning Inter-regional team achieving a convincing victory at Cirencester.

Jill has reported that she will wear no other underwear since she first found out about Runderwear. ‘We spend a lot of time swapping tips to reduce chaffing and talking wicking qualities of fabric in the endurance world as you can imagine. I will never wear any others since finding out how comfortable Runderwear are even over long distances. I have told all my friends they too can be more comfortable if they chose Runderwear.

Gaynor has a beautiful horse, Orlando who has had a fantastic season. These two have had a wonderful partnership over the years and Orlando has matured into a brilliant endurance horse. Gaynor is so proud that he won 146km race ride earlier this year. He has also successfully completed 96km and 82km Competitive Endurance rides was 5th in the ride where he also competed for the winning North west of England team. This winning partnership are about to compete in their first FEI 1* 80km race this weekend at Euston Park. Gaynor will be wearing her Runderwear bra top and knickers so will only need to be concerned with the welfare of her horse and not herself to hopefully get round successfully.  ‘Since I discovered the comfort of Runderwear on long rides I would never consider using anything else’.
