We were really pleased to hear from Jill Thorburn, a GB endurance Rider, who gave us an update on a fantastic season for her and her horse Toby. It is fantastic that our products have really helped keep Jill super comfortable mile after mile!
"Toby started his endurance season slowly with a 32k at Cannock Chase where he achieved a grade two and gave me the confidence he was back on form following an injury. We unknowingly won a bronze award from the Heart of England group for his score at this and two other endurance rides.
I spend a great deal of time ensuring my horse is as comfortable as possibly during his training and endurance rides. Now I have discovered the comfort and fit of Runderwear I can now be equally as comfortable while I am in the saddle for hours at a time. I have used the briefs for a couple of years now but I also now wear the crop tops which give great support and do their job very well.
Toby went on to complete ten rides in his Open season, which meant he’s had 18 starts and 18 successful completions. Given his injury last season I couldn’t be any happier with his performance as this is a brilliant achievement for any horse.
In the summer, Toby was part of the successful North West of England team which again won the Inter-regional championships at Cirencester.
The distances were increased for Toby towards the end of the season and the further we rode the more he seemed to enjoy himself. He finished the season dragging me around 66km at Royalties, where we sometimes disagreed on the speed we should be going, to successfully finish with a grade two!
Toby came third in his class in the UK and won the Cheshire Group Rockcliffe Trophy. We are now looking forward to the season ahead. You can be sure I will be wearing my Runderwear at every ride to make sure I am as well looked after as my wonderful horse."
