Very happy with my Runderwear purchases, having read the previous reviews I ordered these in a size Medium, I'm normally a size 10 and these fitted perfectly - so glad I took note of the reviews.
I also ordered shorts and socks in the same order and having recently had a birthday I suggested 'Runderwear' vouchers as present ideas but it turns out they're not available - such a shame.
Have been using these for marathon training. I would go for a slightly larger size if in doubt. Very comfy, highly recommended.
Good pants. The only downside is that they create skin folds because the top part digs into skin although I'm slim. I bought the same size as usually. I have pants made of similar material from other companies and don't have this problem.
As title, need I say more?
These are great, very comfortable to wear and run in and don't stick to the skin when you are sweaty.Taken a star off for the price, I love them but couldn't they be even just a few pounds cheaper?
Although all my other running kit is high tec and good wicking I’d never thought to buy special pants. Recently I’ve been embarrassed by sweaty wet patches after long runs, so thought I’d try these out. Really delighted. Problem 100% solved and very comfortable too. Will be buying more.
Very comfy running pants that stayed in place! Nice and light too. Was worried when I took them out the pack that they would be too small, but a medium fits me well as a size 10.
Good pair of running pants, felt good whilst running and afterwards and a good fit! Very light, would definitely recommend them! I bought a medium and I’m usually a size 10, they didn’t feel too tight however I’m glad I didn’t go for a small as I can imagine the small would have been tiny! I only have cotton pants to compare with as these were my first pair of running pants I purchased but I was impressed! A lot of money but when it comes to running long distances it pays to pay for comfort.
Best running pants I’ve ever owned.
In fact, best underwear for sports or high energy activity.
Extremely comfortable and lightweight but strong and supportive.
I bought these to use for my ultra marathon and they did not disappoint. I wore them to the gym first to see how they were and they were so comfy, they didn't move. They have that soft silky feel to them and sit really nicely when on. I used them for the weekend of my epic 53 miles across the South Downs Way and they were the best. I have used other brands of sports underwear but these topped them all, I shall be buying extra! They were just so comfortable, no rubbing, no chafing, no movement. I highly recommend these and will definitely be purchasing another pair for myself. Well done Runderwear
These were definitely better than the normal hipster version I tried recently although both are great. The fabric is nicer in the anti VPL version as it's silkier and not so thick. I was surprised in the difference in styles to be honest, these were like a normal fit knicker whereas the others definitely gave good coverage. As a couple of other people have said, suggest a size up otherwise these will look tiny.
Very comfy in the warm weather so far though have only worn for short runs.
I just love them. I wish I'd tried them sooner. Running in the heat is no longer unpleasant, damp or sweaty. I've worn them for short, fast runs, longer trail runs, and long walking days in the mountains. They are so comfortable. Ok, so they are not the briefest of 'low-rise' but the benefits far out-weigh the slightly higher style.
The company are great to deal with too, with a fast and efficient service.
Comfortable pants for hiking. Ordered the vpl low rise, only thing is that not suitable for squat booty as vpl because my cheeks too generous but good fit in hips.
Thank you - comfortable-espically on long runs in hot weather
Bought these as a present for my sister and she is delighted with them. Silky smooth, think she's been coverted!
A really good fit and very comfortable. Really good to wear at the gym as well.
Had looked at these but thought price a bit steep, but got a voucher so bought 2 pairs. Unsure re sizing so bought small and medium. Error on larger size. Can definitely go down a size when buying. I have a shock absorber pair and never liked them, far to big!! These don't even though got them on!! So comfy. Used them on a very hot day walking in the Cullin mountains. Will definitely be in my kit bag for Giants Head marathon shortly. Highly recommended.
Comfortable to wear
100k and no issues fantastic.
Really like these light weight briefs and the hipster style. Only tried them out on shorter runs so far but were very comfortable.
I purchased these in the same size as the hipsters and shorts . The material is not as stretchy but fit me fine . I would say they run to size . The other styles run big . Comfortable
As i expected but a bit slidy against the leggings I was wearing so definitely needed a waist string cord legging to be sure it wouldn’t slip down . No chafeing . If you’re not bothered about VPl stick with the slightly cheaper hipsters
Tested on day 3 of a mountain marathon in the Lake District. Very, very comfy, a lovely fit and great material. I will definitely buy more!
These do exactly what they say on the tin. Comfortable, no VPL and breathable.
Expensive for a pair of pants but they were great so why risk it on the big day?!
Not for me in this style but contacted Runderwear and they offered me an alternative pair, got the shorts, much better. Cannot fault their customer service
So, I’ve tries a pair of runderwear before and they weren’t for me as I have a lot of flabby bits and found that they showed off all of the bits I wanted to conceal. Decided to try these which claimed to be no vpl. I am very please with them, they’re comfortable, don’t slip down, dig in and most importantly you can’t see them through my running tights! Will be stocking up!! NOTE: I was advised to size up - I usually buy a small (I’m a size 10) but I went for the M which definitely worked for me
I wore these in the London Marathon last weekend. They are very comfortable, I forgot they were there, certainly no chafing and no VPL.
Definitely size up - I'm a size 12 and bought Large which fit perfectly. I've now bought more pairs for running and cycling
Great product - bought for running a marathon. You simply just don’t know they’re there!
I bought a pair of these and a pair of the regular briefs at the same time and these felt at least a size smaller.
Very comfy though but size up if you want your cheeks covered!
These are very light weight, not really anti VPL as you can still see an outline through leggings I thought but comfortable. I did find these did ride up a bit when running but were good for on the bike. Nicely made, but I won't use these for running, likely will for time on the bike as they did the trick!
Bought the anti vpl hipsters and wore them today for a half marathon. They were a lot lower rise than I thought, but were absolutely brilliant. Comfy and stayed in place the whole way. Definitely give them 5 stars. I’m a size 12 and bought a medium. Fit was very good.
I use these for gym and cycling and they are super comfy and flattering too!! Highly recommend. You can't put a price on that!
Love my Runderwear anti vlp hipsters - perfect for marathon training - please make a padded sports bra to match - I'm converted!
Very pleased with the product, will be buying more. Should have purchased these sooner.
Wore these for a half marathon--they were fab. Gotta get some more pairs. No chafing, in fact so comfy I forgot they were there. Wicking is fabulous... while I always get chilly from my running sports bras (shock absorber, brooks), the runderwear wick so well I I'm never chilly. Holy grail of running undies. Thank you!!
Really comfortable, no chafing after an 11mile run, minimal VPL.
I absolutely love these! 14 miles of trails and they’re still comfortable and I’m chaff free!! These really are the holy grail of running knickers! Highly recommended!!
I ordered these and the merino briefs but much prefer these as they fit nicely with no vpl and wick as described so perfect.
The pants were a little larger than expected and because they are not very stretchy they fell down! I liked the feel of the fabric so if the fit had been better they would have been very good.
I was disappointed with these knickers. They fitted well and were comfy but I still had some chaffing. I never had chaffing with my normal knickers.
Brilliant product , comfy, no rubbing whilst running. Will be ordering more for my long runs .
What a difference this underwear made to my long runs. Really comfortable and most importantly no more sweaty underwear, no more rubbing.
Great product, will recommend to my fellow runners!
These are a very good fit and really comfortable! I will definitely be purchasing another pair! Very happy with them!
These are just what I wanted. I used to wear Moving Comfort Briefs but they were discontinued and I've been trying to find some that are as good and I've finally found these. :)
Really comfy and great wicking properties. I did try the original briefs and although they were great I did think they were a bit 'Bridget Jones' (sorry Runderwear).............but they came past my bellybutton, they came up higher than my running shorts/tights!
These are perfect though. :)
What a lovely find, really comfy moisture wicking knickers. Such a small thing but it’s made me so happy. I’ve asked for more for Christmas
Comfortable to wear - was not conscious of them when running - did not move - no 'digging in' around hips, so very pleased.
Very comfortable, bought for my marathon and not disappointed.
So comfy, bought my husband the male boxers he loves them too. Brilliant!!!
Lovely pants, I use to play golf. Would prefer a VPL pair with higher waist so it you are thinking of a new design.....
Can be seen but barely and you would have to be looking!
Just completed the Bristol half, the vpl runderwear was so comfortable, more so than the other types of runderwear in my opinion.
Very comfy on my long run. Will be buying more
Heard great reviews about this brand and thought I would try it out. Went for these because I wanted to wear something other than a thong for longer runs. However, these are not anti VPL! I wouldnt say I have a large backside at all but because I have something other than a completely flat bum, you could see it almost bulging out of the sides! I ordered a medium as I am an 8-10 normally, but because i have a slight bit of shape these did not mean they were invisible! Fairly disappointed because they are not cheap- quality of material is excellent though and will obviously still wear them, just a shame you can see the edges!
Very comfortable, breathable, no chafing.
Altho they are advertised as anti VPL, sadly they are visible, but only just! The side seam has a more bulky bit which is visible. IfI'm honest I was looking really closely to notice it elsewhere.
The amazing thing about them is you cannot tell your wearing them at all, I thought that feeling prettying amamzing underneath my compression running tights!
Fit was great, very comfortable and most importantly no chafing. Highly recommend.
Sizing snug and not completely NVPL but I didn't get any chafing during the marathon yesterday. Moved more than the other briefs but didn't cause any discomfort. Hardly knew I was wearing underwear
I bought these for the first Great Manchester Half Marathon. Don't know if it was because it was so packed but I did feel my knickers being swallowed by my butt about ten miles in. They didn't chafe and were breathable however. Can't blame it on sizing as I went a size up! Perhaps just the pressure of the occasion.
Very comfortable, stay in place and don't chafe. Only slightly negative feedback would be that they are not totally VPL. Would buy again.
Very comfortable underwear for both running and other exercise. You forget your wearing them.
VPL seen through Skins compression leggings but really comfy, no chafing and washed well!
Looked everywhere for pants to run the London Marathon in, so glad I've found them!!
even though advertised as VPL when wearing under tight Nike Pro shorts an outline can be seen, other than that it's a good product
These are great for running but also any other exercise! Super comfy and will defiantly be buying more!
Inmy never ending search for the perfect kit to wear training for and running the London marathon, I cam across these pants... or did they come across me? They followed me on facebook and like my running posts... so I thought I'd give them a try.
I went through the ordering process but stumbled at sizing... I sent off an email and got a lovely call back explaining the sizings.
Ordered, worn, happy!
These were good on a run - no chafing - but I thought they came up slightly small on the sizing compared to other brands. As a size 10 I ordered a medium to be safe and they were tight enough to spoil the attempt at no vpl.... They were wearable though so not too bad.
The fabric was not quite what I was expecting and out of the packet I wasn't sure, but once on it was fine.
I had the same issue as an earlier reviewer with the lettering peeling after one wash (using a proper sportswear detergent and no softener).
Will go for a few more runs in them before I decide on a repeat purchase.
These are exactly what I was looking for! Great fit and no movement while running or hiking.
These knickers are great and have stopped the chafing that occured in my ordinary cotton ones. However it is disappointing that after just one wash the Runderwear lettering has started to peel off
I wish I could join all of the rave reviews, but I find them very slippery and, though they didn't chafe, they were up my bum for my entire run.
Sadly I bought two pair
They are very comfy and cannot feel them while running. However, I wouldn't say they are no-show under tight clothing. Also, they run a bit too low for any girls with a bigger booty.
Well for starters I don't run but do horse endurance riding . Padded underwear tends to end up with ridges in due to distance ridden, standard underwear has stitching on the gusset that rubs and underwear tends to move around.
Just worn my runderwear for 42km, not a rub or ridge, happy chaff free ride, no moving around, no stitching to rub, these will get used constantly, thank you excellent product for my sport
Very comfortable and easy to care for. Great when running - confident of the comfort and discretion!
These briefs are made of a material that feels a bit like thin rubber to me. The label says they have 71% polyamide and 29% elastane so this is probably why they don't show visible lines underneath clothing. No criticism of these as such but I do prefer the feel of the fabric used for the low rise hipsters - it is soft and feels like material!
I do a lot of running which is what prompted me to look at the Runderwear range. I would be more comfortable with a pair of briefs designed like the tangas I always go for. The sides sit perfectly on the hip bones and never feel in danger of slipping. It would be great if Runderwear manufactured this style. The VPL Hipsters are designed to sit below the hip bones and as such don't feel like they would always stay in place when I run so that is what made me return them and opt for the Low Rise hipsters instead.
Great fit. I love the material and these knickers do exactly what they advertise.
I was excited to see that Runderwear had developed a new "no-VPL" edition, as a fanatical fan of the original version. I wear them for running (marathons, 1/2s, endurance 24hr runs) and a variety of other workout activities.
However the new version simply does not compare; seemingly no different in design to other "no-VPL" or seamless "laser cut" underwear available on the market (but for the obvious difference in price!). I have found that they do not have the same staying power of the original version, worse in that I even ended up with the dreaded cameltoe on my first wear! Was also disappointed that they come much lower on the waist too.
Personally, I'll be sticking with the original design as comfort and pants that stay put are more important than a VPL.
Stick to the originals!
Very comfortable. Wear for training & playing hockey - so good I forgot I was wearing them!
To be honest I am really disappointed in these briefs, I have a number of Runderwear briefs and thought I would try these so I didn't have a VPL which drives me bonkers - when I put them on they fitted perfectly and no VPL, however after running only a short distance I was having to keep pulling at them as they were riding up my bum - not pleasant at all, so sorry I won't be recommending them.
great comfortable fit on me. material strong and no vpl. would buy again.
