Very pleased with the speed of delivery and the comfort of the two new pairs of socks, good to feel hard working feet are protected!
Always looking for new socks to try. I bought two pairs of these to try them out. Not disappointed, as they live up to Runderwear's usual high standard. They are lovely and comfortable. Best of all, they do not cut into your leg.
These socks proved to be really comfortable. No pain , no blisters following a 16 mile run which is my longest to date, in preparation for my first Marathon in London. Felt like my feet had extra cushioning under them due to these socks been quit thick. Very pleased.
I have a big stash of Runderwear stuff. The pants are great and got me through Comrades (88km) in 2017 unscathed. So the socks interested me. The pitch says "The two layers rub against each other rather than your foot" which sounds kinda clever, so I tried a pair out in the Gran Canaria marathon (photo).
The socks are a quality product, no doubt about it. But they're a bit thicker and squashier than I expected. The squashiness felt quite re-assuring but during the marathon they did feel hot and I got (very minor) chaffing on the soles of my feet. Any discomfort I got was, I think, more to do with my feet getting hot than a design problem with the socks. You've got socks, shoes, ambient temperature, and athlete all in the mix, and it's always going to be a tricky balance to get them all in harmony.
I've tried the Hilly Ultra marathon socks; liked the design but they felt a bit scratchy and unfriendly; I find the X-socks comfortable but not keen on the blingy design, and I haven't made my mind up yet about the Runderwear socks. I like their understated simple design, and I shall wear them for Ultras in the UK, but I'm still a little uncertain of using them for a long race in a hot climate.
These socks are lovely to run in, no chaffing or rubbing of any sort, I loved how they kept my feet warm but ventilated - Clearly they have magic properties!! looking forward to getting more!
The most comfortable socks I've ever run in!
I used to always use Hilly anti blister socks, however I found that my toes would cause a hole at the end - not so with Runderwear! I love the pink colour, and they wash really well. I ended up buying a couple more pairs too.
Bought both boxers & socks, all items are of great quality & the socks in particular do the job for me, I’ll certainly be buying more
These are great - so comfortable. Wasn't sure about getting these due to the price, but I am glad I did. The best running sock that I have by far, no blister.
Knickers and socks are very comfortable.
I normally suffer from blisters on my feet, and so far no blisters, so I’m very happy .
Knickers stay in place. One happy customer.
Had several runs with these socks, they are everything that they say they are not disappointed at all. Will be buying more
I'm a convert to these from another brand. I sized up (I'm a 8.5 trainer and got the large) and so far, so good. Yes, they're a bit on the pricey side but all good running socks are. They wash and wear well. 5 miles tonight and they felt fabulous.
First pair of running socks where I’m blister free! Used for half marathon training! So chuffed!
have only worn them twice for shortish runs ( 4.5 miles on road) but v comfy. They are however quite thick so if your running shoes are tight with thin socks that could be a problem. I always buy shoes 1/2 size too big so they work well for me
Probably ill-advised, but wore these for the first time at Chester Marathon. And pleased to report, no blisters. Which is all one can ask from a 4-hour marathon.
No blisters after marathon training and the run itself very good . I bought some for on my friends in our running club - Stockton Striders AC - after he got a blister during half marathon race next run no blisters when he wore these socks
I bought these socks as my long runs had extended and my previous running socks were starting to give me hotspots in various areas of my feet. I knew that if I continued and extended my distances further, my feet would blister.
The runderwear socks arrived quickly (along with some underpants I ordered!) and I used them for my very next run. They were comfortable and left my feet in great condition giving me one less thing to worry about.
I used them for the Great North Run last week and finished the Half Marathon with my feet feeling like I had just started.
These socks are a great product albeit a little bit pricey. As the saying goes they "do exactly what it says on the tin!" Highly recommended.
These socks are so comfortable much more than any others I have had. However one sock quickly developed a hole from my big toe (which was well manicured!). So despite the comfort this will put me off buying them again.
I have tried a few different running socks over the years and these are awesome. Can't praise them enough. I won't ever buy any others again. I now have them in all colours. Cheers!
I always wanted socks made with two layers of fabric. Love them. Pants are also superb.
First outing today on a 5k.
All good - quite snug on my size 10.5 feet but felt comfortable to run in.
Have worn these socks for a few runs now and have to say they are very comfortable.
My only problem was I cannot wear them if I have my insoles in my running shoes. This is due to the thickness of the socks coupled with the insole lifting my foot too high in the shoe.
Without the insole the socks are very good, nicely padded where needed. Feet stayed cool on what was quite a warm day.
Highly recommend these sock! Run races of various distances, So comfortable every time!
These are very comfortable and smart too
Got me through a marathon - fab socks
Excellent quality and impressed with the feeling when wearing. Highly recommend.
I had a minor problem with a pair of socks. The delightful folk at Runderwear replaced them quickly and without quibble. Thank you, Runderwear, for excellent service.
Got a pair of these socks jsut in time for the chilly Jan weather. They are good, warm and blister free. Maybe too warm for summer use but this time of year are the bees knees.
Fantastic socks, warm, comfortable, good length, fitted in the correct places. I look forward to wearing them tonight in -2c
The new style makes this sock much better looking whilst still doing what you expect of them. They are thicker now which you will notice when you put on your trainers.
I bought socks and underwear for running son & daughter. Already used and much loved! No blisters and chaffing reported
Really pleased with these, so comfortable and no hint of rubbing or blisters. I ordered one pair to try but will be ordering more now.
Very comfortable socks. Kept my feet nice and dry when I wore them for the first time on a long walk yesterday.
I had been getting a slight blister on runs over 10 miles and bought the socks to wear at a recent half marathon. The socks felt great, were comfortable and I didn't get any blisters! The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that I wish they were in size 4-7. I'm 6.5 and the medium (6-8)were a little wide on the toes. Having said that, I would order another pair.
Sort of worked-ish
Very comfortable great socks very happy wi them good fit thanks
The amount of money I've wasted on running socks is unbelievable. They are either too thin, the seams rub or just generally ill fitting. During my half marathon on Sunday the only thing that didn't hurt was my feet!
They are very comfortable and do exactly what they say they do, no blisters since wearing them!
These are a double sock with a very smooth seamless inner so they feel very comfortable. They are an excellent sock for use with road running shoes.
Perfect fit and comfort
I ordered both styles of rounder wear and definitely prefer the boxer style, but that's a personal preference. Very comfortable to wear and do exactly what they should do, which is to allow you to focus on your running rather than any uncomfortable chaffing. Socks are great too so far!
I have found that even expensive specialist running socks do not reliable protect me against developing blisters and hard skin, but the Runderwear socks (both ankle and low-rise versions) really do give full protection. Very clever design! And really the most comfortable socks ever!
I had previously purchased these socks and really liked them for the padding they give when running. I also find them very comfortable, that is why I purchased some more
Extremely comfortable to wear and the cushioned layers are very effective at protecting against rubbing. Very happy with them, no complaints.
I suffer from plantar fasciitis so getting the right socks is really important for me. These are definitely my favourite socks. Cushioned, comfortable, they don't rub and have dried quickly when I've been forced to run through puddles. My feet love them
Quite new to running, I wore normal cotton crew socks from Gap. Clever me. I have great fitting low/minimal shoes but I was having some rubbing on a toe, and it ended up callused! I had started wearing better socks in the winter but needed extra comfort while the toe recovered and ongoing! The only thing I would say is these socks end up quite thick due to the layers, but don't be put off as that is clearly how they "work". What I did as a compromise is just take out the insole and feel great now. Love the Left & Right sock, washes up well so far.
