I want to love your boxers, merino and regular both. However, after 12 pairs, 6 merino and 6 regular, there is no way these can be guaranteed as chafe free. They are great in every other way, but they will cause severe chafing even on runs as short as 8km. I don't normally suffer from chafing, making me an unlikely candidate to get it with gear guaranteed to not chafe. I cannot recommend these for that reason alone.

I'm probably a funny shape but they ride up my legs and aren't so great for me. Nice quality though.

I've been using these during late autumn / early winter, and have found them very comfortable. They're not particularly heavy, so I imagine they'll be comfortable all year, but a little thicker might have been better for the coldest months. I find that these boxers ride up a little at the hem line (I'd guess about an inch), but they never move into or cause any discomfort in the crotch area, and stay perfectly in place at the waist. Size-wise, I suggest sizing up if you're at or near to the size boundaries - I have a 32" waist, and the M is just about as tight as would be comfortable.

This is the second pair I’ve bought in quick succession for my winter runs. My mother in law doesn’t know it yet, but she’s giving them to me for Christmas! Great running undies. I’ve run out in these in the cold and the rain, and was extremely comfortable. No chafing. No cold thighs (or anywhere immediately anywhere north of there!).
